Summary: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the buildings including maintaining the respective level of cleanliness of the ISO classified cleanroom areas while ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System, controlled procedures, and other regulatory standards by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills are required.
Must be able to measure liquids.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of cleanroom areas, including floors, walls, tables, and equipment on established intervals per procedure(s).
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors per procedure(s).
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Monitor and replenish cleanroom supplies such as gowns, gloves, and masks.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, SOP and WI procedures, company policies and rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with QMS and other regulatory agency requirements.
- Ensure all PPE is used and worn properly.
- Document cleaning activities and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
- Report any deviations or issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in workplace and safety training as required.
- Perform additional responsibilities/duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cleaning office environment and cleanroom cleaning preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of cleanroom standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 13485, GMP) preferred.
- Must be able to measure liquids.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
