Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Facilities Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facility, including ISO-classified cleanroom environments. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS), standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and shared spaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of cleanroom areas (floors, walls, equipment, and work surfaces) following established procedures.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in accordance with SOPs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Empty trash and replace liners.
  • Restock facility supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Monitor and replenish cleanroom supplies (gowns, gloves, masks, etc.).
  • Accurately document cleaning activities to support audits and compliance.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or procedural deviations.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in required safety and compliance training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous cleaning experience in an office or cleanroom environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom standards (e.g., GMP, ISO 13485) preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Basic math skills, including measuring liquids.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25+ pounds.
  • Requires manual dexterity and ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies.

Work Environment
  • Work is performed in both standard facility areas and controlled cleanroom environments.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents, airborne particles, temperature variations, and mechanical equipment.
  • PPE is required and must be worn properly at all times.
  • Environment may include moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to hazardous conditions.
